**Role Summary:**

The Retail Marketing team within Universal Brand Development is focused on developing strategy and executing marketing programs at retail to support the sell-in and sell-through of consumer products across the NBCUniversal portfolio. We are charged with creating innovative plans that maximize NBCU IP, such as Jurassic World, Despicable Me, Trolls, and more to help ensure long-term success of the brands, and ultimately drive revenue and long-term value for NBCUniversal. The Retail Marketing team is focused and driven, small yet mighty, with a highly collaborative spirit and strong support structure.

The Manager, Retail Marketing will support retail marketing efforts with a focus on strategy, innovation and execution. Reports to Sr. Director, Retail Marketing.

**Job Duties:**

+ Plan, develop, and execute strategic and omni-channel marketing campaigns across Universal, DreamWorks Animation, and Illumination Entertainment film and television properties.

+ Develop solutions to drive traffic into store, as well as provide cross-promotional opportunities to boost additional sell-thru

+ Have an understanding of digital marketing channels (i.e. YouTube, Google, digital apps, social media, etc.)

+ Partner closely with Retail Development on opportunities to grow NBCUniversal’s businesses along with identifying white space for more opportunistic brands.

+ Understand each retailer’s goals and strategic initiatives to provide creative solves that maximize their marketing levers and methods of execution.

+ Sustain solid relationships with retail partners to increase collaboration, robust marketing, and continued partnership on future properties and programs.

+ Develop/maintain strong relationships and collaborate across the various NBCU cross-divisional teams to build omni-channel retail marketing campaigns.

+ Work closely with Creative Design & Development (CDD) on retail creative requests to ensure creative is in line with retailer’s objectives and delivered on time.

+ Confidently pitch and present key opportunities internally and to retail partners

+ Drive brainstorm sessions to develop retail themes and marketing campaigns.

+ Manage budget in partnership with Retail Development.


**Basic Qualifications:**

+ 3+ years of experience in marketing, licensing, entertainment and/or retail.

+ Extremely well organized, able to juggle multiple projects, and wear many hats.

+ Strong written, communication and presentation skills

+ Must be well-versed in Mac and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Keynote. **Eligibility Requirements:**

**Desired Characteristics**


+ Knowledge of Photoshop a plus.

+ Bachelors degree preferred
