**Responsibilities**

Essential Functions:

The Manager is responsible to oversee daily operations within the designated Technology offices in all areas of workplace services including reception, security, safety and more.



+ Provide local presence for IT Facilities & Logistics team in support of Technology clients’ assistance with logistics, on/off-boarding, issues/concerns/questions specific to Technology Center

+ Create/process tickets and work orders for space readiness: (i.e. desk phone, port activation, cleanliness, keys, name plates, optimizing furniture, ergo requests and more)

+ Conducts/participates in Workplace Technology meetings on IT Facilities projects. Serve as liaison between the client and all other project resources.

+ Facilitate Center-wide communications on behalf of IT Facilities, EC Facilities, and others as approved (i.e. drills, power shut downs, road closures, special events and more)

+ Partner with stakeholders and associated departments to plan, coordinate, customize and implement events such as: Employee Engagement Events, Tech Center tours, Town Halls and Special Events and more

+ Conduct monthly meeting with key Tech. Center stakeholders to gather feedback, requirements and collaborate on initiatives

+ Meet with client/representative prior to each project to define project requirement, identify success factors, develop measurement tools and communicate measureable added value to client

+ Identify client critical environments, change control processes and formulate successful plan for relocations

+ Identify cost saving opportunities on all projects/events/initiatives

+ Liaise with East Coast Facilities to address building issues and client concerns and ensure follow-up/closure

+ Identifies problems and recommends/implements solutions in a proactive and timely manner

+ Collaborates closely and maintains effective communication with Facilities Client Services Leader, PM and others within Corporate Facilities, consultants, contractors and vendors, with respect to schedule, budget and consultant performance

+ Identify and assist in development and implementation of innovations, best practices, and standard operating procedures to elevate team performance

+ Oversee office maintenance including ongoing cleanliness and neatness of the office, kitchen, safety issues and repairs ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facilities are well managed

+ Address ongoing equipment and office flow needs

+ Oversight management of office supplies including inventory control, cost control, ordering, stocking etc. and controlling special orders

+ Oversee office security needs, working with building management, EH&S and Security as necessary regarding security issues, concerns and procedures

+ Assist with Safety Team & Floor Warden responsibilities as needed and coordinates procedure review meetings with Technology Floor Wardens and Safety.

+ Maintains accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation and store on a department shared drive.

+ Recommends and implements improvements to e-files documentation and storage tools and processes

+ Generate reports and space audits, updates databases/floor plans/spreadsheets and publishes on shared drive

+ Provide weekly department activity/status updates and requested reports/metrics to Director

+ Identify client critical environments, change control processes and formulate and implement successful plan and associated tickets for relocations

+ Must cross-train with NY Technology Site Ops Manager in order to provide support as needed and fill-in for each other as needed

+ Embraces change and works well in a dynamic environment

+ Highly organized with strong analytical skills

+ Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently

+ Other duties/projects as assigned by department Director

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Qualifications/Requirements:



+ Must be willing to work in NJ and NY

+ High school diploma is required; BA/BS degree preferred

+ Preferred 3 years of related experience as a Manager or comparable level, or an equivalent combination of education/experience

+ Strong computer skills and expert knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs especially Excel reporting, PowerPoint, Access/SharePoint and Visio. Working knowledge of CAD & Service Now desirable

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a diverse group of associates, including a professional phone manner and in-person presence

+ Advanced people and leadership skills

+ Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response

+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple requests and work in a fast paced office environment with a proven record of effecting strategic change and initiatives where prudent

+ Demonstrates effective and professional service orientation and builds appropriate rapport with internal and external contacts, while maintaining accountability

+ Attention to detail and demonstrated initiative; self-starter who is organized with strong decision-making capability and emotional maturity

+ Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the company’s sole discretion

+ Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day including occasional weekends and holidays when needed

+ Ability to read furniture plans, and space planning concepts preferred

+ Experience with Ergonomics and OSHA standards preferred

+ Occasional lifting, up to 50 pounds
