• Responsible for general Office & Space Planning functions covering DreamWorks Animation facilities including approximately 450k square feet at both the main Campus and Central location.

• Works seamlessly with fellow leaders including Business Unit coordinators and administrators, Design & Construction, Facility Operations & Engineering, Corporate Services, Sourcing, Finance, HR, Legal, Clients, Production companies and others.

• Liaison’s closely with Universal Film team representatives in determining general office needs and insures seamless coordination and execution of moves including new hires, shuffles and restacks.

• Maintains CAFM system data including all current occupancy and vacancy information, along with creating regular reporting and space forecasting updates.

• Builds and manages space planning tools which collect occupancy data, forecasts needs, reports performance metrics, enables occupancy scenario planning and the most efficient deployment of workspace possible.

• Collaborates with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to create standards, process and procedures which drive effective management and ultimately the best possible workplace environment possible.

• Coordinators directly with a variety of vendors including movers, furniture, general contractors and others.

• Collaborates and supports the Ergonomic leader in terms of client interface and providing timely solutions.

• Works in collaboration with Facilities and Business Unit Representatives to coordinate a variety of office projects including moves, furniture updates, and general refresh.

• Generally monitors spaces and buildings to maintain a safe, clean and to keep in good repair.

• Specifically this leader will;

o Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well maintained work environments.

o Provide regular updates and detailed status reports

o Insures all workspace meets or exceeds all applicable building codes and accessibility requirements.

o Maintains documentation for all workspace records.


• 5 years of experience leading complex space planning functions in a relevant industry.

• Experience with CAD and CAFM related systems such as AutoCAD, Archibus, Revit, Centerstone, iOffice.

• Ability to work a variety of hours and weekends from time to time as needed to conduct projects and moves.

• Principles of environmental stewardship. LEED accreditation is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of furniture systems.

• Ergonomic experience highly desirable.

• Technical aspects of facilities management including MEP infrastructure, office interiors and general operations.

• 4 year college degree preferred.

• Effective communicator, able to influence, read their audience, be agile.

• Ability to navigate through very complex situations and personalities.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Deep functional knowledge of CAFM and AutoCAD tools

• Sound problem-solving, decision-making, and business analysis skills.

• Excellent communications skills and ability to deliver presentations to executives

• Proven space planning and reporting capabilities

• Able to create tools and processes which elevate overall job effectiveness

• Able to organize, prioritize and execute numerous complex projects in parallel.

• Strong base knowledge of building systems and general facility operations

• Strong design acumen able to build inspiring environments in cost effective manners.
