**About the Role:**

The Media Services Operations Manager is an integral member of the Global Media Operations team, located within 10 Universal City Plaza in Universal City, California. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, standardizing and growing the process for recognizing billable services within Global Media Operations. The Media Services Operations Manager will partner with key stakeholders across Operations to track services and Finance to ensure they are billed appropriately.

The Media Services Operations Manager will also work closely with Finance to enforce a standardized rate card practice along with a seamless month-end closing process. This includes end-to-end workflow analysis of digital supply chain processes in an effort to drive short- and long-term strategies to improve the billing process. The Media Services Operations Manager will also work with Engineering teams to understand current and emerging technologies, assess costs and recommend appropriate rates.

The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of related experience.

**Role and Responsibilities:**

+ Oversee process to recognize billable services for Global Media Operations

+ Analyze end-to-end operations & billing workflows to identify, document and implement improvements

+ Perform manual data analysis/compilation for disparate tracking spreadsheets

+ Liaise with operations team to resolve customer discrepancies and process adjustments accordingly

+ Partner with Finance for special program/billing planning and implementation

+ Partner with Engineering to evaluate emerging technologies and related costs

+ Suggest new or updated rates to finance and operations leadership as necessary

+ Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes

+ Assist with the implementation of a new billing system


+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent work experience required

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, finance accounting or operations

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in cross-functional operations management with delivery accountability

+ Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and stakeholders; must be able to present new information with supporting data

+ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

+ Outstanding attention to detail with strong financial data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills

+ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

+ Must be able to work in the greater Los Angeles area

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
