Hawaii News Now (CBS and NBC affiliated television stations) is seeking a full-time Multimedia Content Producer to join the Digital Desk at the state's premier multimedia company. HNN's social media and digital properties dominate the Hawaii market and are among the top performers in Raycom Media.


Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Shooting video for livestreams and to be used in video packages for digital consumption
  • Editing video stories for social media, the web and HNN's Roku and Amazon Fire apps
  • Creating multimedia digital content, including slideshows and graphics
  • Helping produce video content for all digital platforms during breaking news events
  • Assists with producing Facebook Live shows
  • Working with reporters and newsroom management to coordinate video or other digital elements for projects


The right candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience working with digital and social media in a newsroom setting and/or a strong knowledge of social media and digital news platforms. Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and being able to shoot and edit professional videos. Knowledge of Edius and Final Effects are a plus. College degree required (Journalism/English degrees are pred).
