**Responsibilities**

The UK Sales Team is responsible for Account Management of the Physical Home Entertainment retailers across the UK and Ireland. The role will involve working closely with Head of Sales and Sales Director along with internal teams - Finance, Marketing and Operations to deliver a joint business plan with the retailer, maximising sales and exposure across full product portfolio and lifecycle.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

OVERVIEW

The UK Sales Team is responsible for Account Management of the Physical Home Entertainment retailers across the UK and Ireland. The role will involve working closely with Head of Sales and Sales Director along with internal teams - Finance, Marketing and Operations to deliver a joint business plan with the retailer, maximising sales and exposure across full product portfolio and lifecycle.



RESPONSIBILITIES



• Achieve New Release and Catalogue targets whilst managing margin, product lifecycle and returns in line with business expectation

• Secure maximum exposure for Universal & Paramount product and ensure optimal implementation of all agreed activity

• Deliver quarterly presentations to customer, leading all face to face meetings together with support from internal Marketing and Insights teams

• Define and manage growth opportunities across all product types

• Generate new ideas and ways of working to give Universal a competitive advantage within your customers business

• Develop industry leading, long term customer relationships – become a champion within Universal for your customer and help champion Home Entertainment within your customers business

• Own internal and external Joint Business Plans, using these as a framework for all commercial planning and executing as agreed with your retailer

• Analyse and review both market and customer performance and sales initiatives and recommend pricing, campaign, marketing and execution strategies based on findings

• Manage key sales processes including forecasting, financial queries, returns, merchandising and in store execution in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Operations and Commercial teams

• Keep all sales tracking, administration and internal documents up to date and accurate

• Keep up to date on developments and trends in the marketplace and at retail

• Manage and deliver projects to add value outside of day to day responsibility, as agreed with Head of Sales



Experience & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation

• Advanced commercial acumen and excellent commercial awareness

• Proven negotiation skills

• Strong analytical approach together with the aptitude to draw out conclusions and actions

• Ability to improve and implement new processes

• Detailed industry knowledge across all media channels

• Passion for Film (Studio & Independent), TV, Stand Up Comedy and Technology
