NBCUniversal has an exciting opportunity for a talented Office & Facilities Assistant to join our technical operation in Centennial, CO. The Office & Facilities Assistant will play an important role in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and continues to be a great place to work. This is a highly visible role that requires excellent communication skills, a client-service orientation, high attention to detail, and diligent follow-up. The ideal candidate is also solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate and solve office problems before they arise.

This is a part-time staff position with a projected schedule of ~30 hours a week (Monday-Friday), with the possibility of additional hours as needed.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

• Coordinate and prepare for meetings and events, including reserving space, securing catering, and set-up/take-down

• Act as central point of contact for employees with facilities concerns; promptly escalate and follow through on all inquiries

• Provide project support to Manager, Projects & Integration through office construction

• Liaise with construction teams and corporate Facilities as needed

• Communicate pertinent employee updates re: construction and changing access to office space

• Maintain seating charts and coordinate employee seat changes

• Provide backup support for the Office Coordinator as needed, including travel scheduling and calendar management

• Monitoring and ordering of office supplies

• Receive training in Environmental Health & Safety and conduct inspections and ergonomic assessments as needed

• Ensure shared office spaces are clean and presentable at all times

• Other duties as needed and assigned


**Basic Qualifications:**

• 1+ years experience working in an office support function

• 1+ years experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite

**Additional Job Requirements:**

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must have unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States

• Must have some flexibility with regards to schedule and picking up additional hours when needed to support a 24x7 operation

• Must be able to work in Centennial, CO

• Must be able to lift/carry ~30 pounds

• Must be able to spend ~40% of the workday away from a desk, walking around the facility

**Desired Characteristics**

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 1+ years of facilities experience in a large, highly technical office environment

• Prior experience in Environmental Health & Safety

• Prior experience in basic graphic design or crafting internal communications

• Excellent phone manner, administrative and organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task high priority tasks

• Demonstrated ability to quickly develop internal and external relationships at all levels
