**Responsibilities**

SUMMARY

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and the execution of broadcast daily logs for international territories. This position ensures accurate placement of the Programming grid, Adsales spots, Onair promos strategy and secondary events. As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for all related functions of the NBCUniversal Latin America Channels Operations team including integration with Programming, Promotions, Sales and Finance.



ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES



+ Ensure integrity of daily broadcast log & automation

+ Resolve daily scheduling conflicts.

+ Ensuring timely receipt of materials in order to meet programming’s linear air dates.

+ Ensure smooth and regular delivery of materials to the non-linear platform and website.

+ To liaise with the media prep facility, making decisions on the technical quality of material and making sure materials are being sent to correct third parties for subtitling, dubbing, and promo creation.

+ Identify system irregularities.

+ Assign work to language vendors, request required languages and agree to deadlines.

+ Assist in resolving OnAir discrepancies when they arise.

+ Maintain accurate program schedule & formatting.

+ Focus on manipulating logs to maximize revenue.

+ Build logs if necessary.

+ Communicates on an ongoing basis with the Ad sales team and Schedulers to ensure advertising and scheduling alignment.

+ Be available and flexible to accommodate last-minute business changes.

+ Responsible for accurate breaks durations.

+ Ensures regulatory compliances and placement of programs rating classification.

+ Work close with Traffic, Programing, Marketing, Sales Departments and Playout team.

+ Work alongside the Operations Director on special projects.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Broadcast Traffic and working experience in Broadcast Traffic systems (Mydas, Landmark, WideOrbit, IBMS, BTS etc)

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications preferred.Additional Job Requirements
