Job Description

WXII is recruiting for a PT Production Assistant. Duties include but not limited to construction, maintenance, installation and operation of props, sets and other production equipment; operation of cameras, booms, lights, cueing and prompting devices; maintain professional appearance of studio/sets. Work also includes operation of handheld camera in studio/in the field, ADOBE PREMIERE editing (non-linear) for news and website content; edit and produce daily episodic promos; maintain digital content elements for our website – wxii12.com … and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Must have a good attitude, be willing to learn, and be a team player.
  • Must be able to problem solve quickly and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail a must.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications preferred.

Required Experience

  • Experience in operation of studio and remote cameras preferred
