**Responsibilities**

Job Summary

NBC Entertainment Digital Marketing is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team in creating best in class digital videos in support of NBC's primetime programming.



This position will report to the Vice President, Creative Content Production and is located at NBC's facilities on the Universal Lot in Universal City. This is an NBC staff position, with full benefits, including health, paid time-off and more.



The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects, with an exceptional eye for detail, and strong collaboration and communication skills. This person should be equally at home whether overseeing a shoot, leading a production meeting, or at a desk knocking out call sheets and schedules.



This role will also work with variety of stakeholders (including creative directors, producers, executive producers, writers, social managers) to define the vision, scope and deliverables needed for a wide range of digital projects--from simple edits to large multi-camera physical shoots.



Essential Responsibilities



+ Prepare production plans including budgets, schedules, deliverable lists, and equipment/technology recommendations.

+ Ensure that the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout each project's life cycle.

+ Coordinate across internal departments (such as Legal, Business Affairs, Rights and Clearances, Design, Video post-production, Brand Strategy, Social Marketing) and producers to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.

+ Coordinate with line producers of broadcast shows to arrange shoots, schedules, and asset delivery.

+ Arrange and negotiate vendors, crew, locations, and equipment rental.

+ Assist with simple field shoots. Should possess basic to intermediate shooting, lighting, and sound recording skills.

+ Oversee pre-production planning and coordination for video shoots. Line produce small-scale shoots, including all aspects of physical production. Handle releases, agreements, licenses and contract tracking.

+ Interface with NBC financial departments to make sure costs are tracked, vendors are processed, and that invoices are received, reviewed, and paid.

+ Generate timely production reports and identify any threats to a project's established budget and delivery deadline.

+ Manage a small inventory of field equipment such as cameras, light kits.

+ Additional projects and duties as assigned.

+ Able to create budgets, schedules, and production plans for a variety of program types (i.e. daily shows, series, specials, live events, etc.) and for a variety of platforms including Facebook, YouTube, VOD, Snapchat, etc.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:



+ 1 - 3 years of production management experience for a broadcast network, cable network, digital agency, or television production company.

+ Hands-on experience in clip/field/studio-based productions as a director, producer, line producer, or coordinating producer.

+ Solid understanding of digital production workflows.

+ Basic shooting, lighting, and sound recording skills.

+ Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Eligibility Requirements:

+ Basic editing skills

+ Live producing experience a plus, including producing or directing for Facebook Live, Twitch or YouTube Live.
