Programmatic Sales Manager

 

Job Description:

Hearst Television is looking for a Programmatic Sales Manager, responsible for all programmatic advertising revenue within an assigned and/or newly developed list of accounts. The primary responsibility is to meet or exceed revenue and budget goals, while focusing on driving profitable growth. The ideal candidate has programmatic advertising experience, with deep knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of programmatic sales offerings - including electronic trading platforms, data-enabled products, and sales process automation platforms. A strong video/broadcast background is highly preferred. Staying current on the latest technology, trading platforms, marketing trends and metrics for success is crucial to this position. Strong client and agency trading desk contacts are also required. This position is located at Hearst's New York City headquarters.

 

Qualifications/Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the online digital space (buy or sell-side), with strong media agency and advertising relationships
  • Experience working with data management platforms (DMP), data exchanges, ad networks, demand side platforms (DSP), agency trading desks or supply side platforms (SSP) and ad servers
  • Self-motivated with a willingness and comfort working in an agile ‘startup’ environment
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue and new business development
  • Solid oral and written communication skills to effectively present technical products and deal structures to customers
  • Understanding of digital advertising metrics and current industry trends (mobile, display and video) is required
  • Travel may be required
