+ Create, maintain, and distribute monthly programming schedule, which includes: (1) Communicate schedule as needed to all impacted parties including Nielsen, Master Control, TV Listings sources, programming partners, and internal staff (2) Solve and troubleshoot all programming schedule issues (3) Work closely with Producers to ensure programming schedule is accurate and aligns with airing times (4) Work closely with Master Control to ensure programming is aired as intended and to reconcile schedules the next day

+ Produce contingency plans for live events on a daily/weekly basis

+ Create, update, and maintain future-looking ‘Coming Attractions’ of planned content for upcoming 12 months

+ Manage the Acquisition and Development of New ProgrammingWork closely with clients, legal department, and management to negotiate time buy rates

+ Manage, distribute, and monitor closed captioning

+ Prepare and distribute VOD schedule

+ Liaise with NBC/NBCSN colleagues on scheduling of and sharing of broadcast rights

+ Maintain and update programming databases and spreadsheets relevant to individual projects, budgets and/or accounts

+ Work closely with Corporate, Affiliate Sales, Sales, and Marketing, and manage requests in a timely manner

+ Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Understanding of Nielsen ratings

+ Four (4) years of directly related experience in sports television programming and/or a related production environment

+ Strong organizational and presentation skillsGood interpersonal skills – ability to negotiate and work with outside vendors, teams, and leagues to from content partnerships

+ Interest, knowledge and curiosity about Northwest sports

+ Creativity and willingness/interest in sharing ideas for new programming (even bad ideas)
