This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Director on strategy, process efficiencies and consistencies across the Digital Sales Operations team. This role will be accountable for the successful launch of premium campaigns on multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, apps, TV connected devices, etc.) across all News & Sports properties.

We are seeking candidates with an interest in the technical aspects of digital advertising whom have an appreciation and desire to deliver quality work in a fast pace environment. Candidates with digital traffic or campaign operations experience are an ideal fit as we need people who understand the process and systems side of launching campaigns that live across various web properties i.e. banner, display, mobile and video.

+ Review all campaign launch/modifications across the NBC News and Sports Portfolio and provide critical troubleshooting on major campaign launches

+ Identify opportunities to create efficiencies across the sales operations team

+ Prepare and train Sales Operations Specialists on changes to process

+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal and external customers across all performance related ad platforms and systems

+ Refine and manage NBCU’s QA process to ensure the delivery of high-quality, error-free campaigns. (This includes recording metrics across the team, tracking missing creatives for Sales, Inventory and Operations, as well as maintaining a fluid schedule of roadblocks across the network)

+ Monitor all sites and devices to ensure ads are being delivered as intended

+ Assist with pulling and analyzing reports to uncover potential errors/issues before they become revenue impacting. (i.e. error logs in FreeWheel)

+ Work directly with the Director, Digital Sales Operations and management team to ensure that all details of sales operations are being upheld and that the Sales team is being properly supported


Basic Qualifications

+ Familiarity with ad-serving systems (FreeWheel, DFP, etc.)

+ At least two years’ digital experience in an ad operations or trafficking role

+ Expert on trouble shooting Ad related issues

+ Basic understanding of web/Internet technologies (HTML, Flash, JavaScript, etc).

+ Strong knowledge of the digital media businessAdditional Job Requirements

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Ability to set and self-manage goals, deadlines and multiple assignments concurrently in a project based environment

+ Familiarity with emerging video and mobile product landscape

+ Ability to train and present to Ops and Sales organization

+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, HTML, Javascript, Photoshop and Flash

+ Ability to thrive in a continuously changing environment
