**Responsibilities**

NBCUniversal Games and Digital Platforms group is looking for a seasoned QA Manager who brings energy and passion to the team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and an open mind with the ability to lead and look at things from different perspectives. Must be a gamer with basic understanding of Project Management and Product Release. The QA Manager will report to Sr. Director of Operations.

**Job Duties (As a Project/Product Release Manager):**



+ Ensure that Products (Games) are ready and compliant with the release environments to be launched (App Store, Google Store, Steam, etc.)

+ Work with internal and external teams to plan, measure, track, report and analyze project-tracking data (Milestones, Sprints, etc.)

+ Identify assumptions and risks within a full development cycle (validate assumptions vs. actuals) and suggest mitigation plans **Job Duties (As QA/UAT):**

+ Develop and evolve formal QA processes to ensure quality goals are met

+ Establish metrics and best practices

+ Validate bugs created by Partners and/or other third party testers

+ Play Games, identify and record bugs (in addition to third party tickets)

+ Set up dashboards and automate bug reporting

+ Communicate with Partners and influence the prioritization process (triaging)

+ Able to dive-in, identify challenges and provide potential solutions (“Tiger Team” QA of products)

+ When needed, manage external QA teams and act as liaison between testers, developers and production groups

+ Be Able to lead and mentor QA team members

**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ Minimum of 5 years as a tester (2 years of which as a lead) within the gaming industry

+ Excellent knowledge in interacting with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

+ Outstanding oral and written communication skills

+ Strong passion for games

+ Appreciation for high quality products and great user experiences

+ Ability to address challenges at the executive level
