The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is responsible for covering the reception desk and provides administrative support to the GM, Office Manager and all other department heads as requested or needed for the TLMD 40 Studios.


• Covers reception desk and welcomes visitors and clients by greeting them in a professional and friendly manner, in person or on the telephone, answers questions, refers inquiries, directs visitors, maintains employees and department directories, and provides information to callers and visitors.

• Ability to maintain security standards by raising concerns about possible violations; issues visitors badges and ensures all visitors feel welcomed and are escorted during their visit to our studios.

• Provides administrative assistance to all managers as requested or needed.

• Ensures phone calls, viewer’s comments, phone messages, delivered packages and assorted mail is distributed to the appropriate departments in a timely manner with the appropriate sense of urgency.

• Back up for the Traffic Department- Prior knowledge of Traffic systems (Wide Orbit, OSI, etc.) or be willing to be trained to assist as a backup within the Traffic Department to fill in when Traffic Manager or Traffic Assistant are out.

• Performs general office duties, including general correspondence, filing, faxing, copying, ordering coffee or office supplies and receiving all incoming package deliveries.

• Effective handling of everyday tasks, issues and/or inquiries received at the reception desk from customers, viewers, callers and visitors.

• Assists with special projects and assignments as directed, specifically dealing with administrative functions and the coordination of events [e.g., arrange catering, coordinate location, etc.]

• Assists with the coordination of events in conjunction with internal departments when requested.

• Document viewers’ comments and direct them to the appropriate department or manager

• Position reports to Office Manager and/or General Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Administration department and all other departments as necessary.


Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prior reception and administrative experience as an executive assistant or comparable level

• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish

• Valid driver’s license

• Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through to be considered

• Must be willing to work in McAllen, Texas

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in

the United States

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be available to work M-F and weekends if needed
