Basic Qualifications

+ At least 5 years of experience in television broadcast engineering.

+ At least 2 years of experience in remote television broadcasting.

+ Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly.

+ Ability to adapt quickly to a changing technical environment.

+ Willingness to work long hours during the week and weekends.

+ Position could require 100% travel, both domestic and international.

+ Ready and willing to work with cutting edge modern television production systems, and adapt to rapidly changing technical requirements.

+ Must be proficient with broadcast test and measurement equipment in addition to MS Office, Visio, and AutoCAD.

+ Knowledge of fiber optic and coax transport, h.264 encoding and decoding, ASI, MPEG and JPEG video encoding systems, Dolby-E, multiview video processors, standards converters, frame syncs, matrix based communications systems, and video and audio routing systems.

+ Knowledge of audio consoles and routing systems, with emphasis on experience with Calrec and Lawo systems.

+ Experience with Lawo commentary systems.

+ Experience with using Evertz routing systems, RTS intercom systems, and Cisco networking systems.

+ Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent desired.

+ Advanced CAD knowledge and experience desired.Eligibility Requirements
