**Responsibilities**

The Audience Research & Analysis department is responsible for supporting NBCU’s international channels (UNI), content licensing (TVD) and Production (TVP) businesses with audience-based quantitative and qualitative tracking, analysis and reporting in all international territories across all consumer facing platforms.



The primary function of the role is to provide important tactical and strategic analysis to help drive the international growth of i) the new media TVD business, and ii) Hayu, NBC Universal’s reality TV subscription VOD service.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

KEY RESPONSIBILITES



Essential Responsibilities:



• Support collation of performance data and maintenance of reporting tools, working with external agencies where appropriate.



• Produce regular performance reporting and ad hoc analysis for the new media content licensing business



• Monitor and communicate digital market trends to stakeholders



• Support the delivery of primary research (qualitative or quantitative) as and when necessary



• Work with Digital research team to represent NBC Universal in market tracking initiatives, supply data where appropriate, and communicate results



• Evaluate the competitive landscape and communicate insights to the business.



• Monitor and analyse channels’ digital activity, including the performance of managed properties and traffic initiatives



• Maintain the quality and integrity of data by cleaning, filtering and setting up systems to collect NBCU 1st party data in the most efficient way



• Support the Digital Audience Research & Analysis Team as required.



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



• An active interest in the international media business

• Good understanding of the digital media landscsape, with a detailed understanding of the variety of ways that consumers are now watching content

• Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to craft out insightful and visually appealing reporting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience analysing and using 1st , 2nd and 3rd party datasets

• Comfort working with, and ability to summarise key findings from, large data sets

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Ability to take initiative and prioritise workloads to ensure all relevant deadlines are met

• Experience with some media analysis tools (e.g. Omniture, Comscore, Nielsen, Global Web Index, TGI, Touchpoints BARB, Hitwise, Crimson Hexagon, internal systems)

• Experience with reporting packages (e.g. Power BI, Strategy Analytics) database languages (e.g. SQL) and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) would be beneficial, but not essential
