The Research Analyst will have familiarity with Spanish-language television programming and will support building insights about the Telemundo Media audience using a wide variety of data sources.

• Manages top line and detailed analyses/ratings reporting, presentations and highlights covering Telemundo Media and its competitors

• Analyzes data to identify market trends, program preferences/opportunities, audience flow and other insights

• Handles multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently juggle workload in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines

• Maximizes the use of a number of tools that provides access to national, local and international ratings and demonstrates proficiency in understanding how to use these data sources for all assigned tasks

• Works with Research Management on executing company-wide initiatives

• Works under the direct supervision of the Sr. Director News/Sports Research and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor


• Minimum 1 year of proven experience within a Research role

• Proficient written and verbal communication in English and Spanish

• Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Office applications including Excel (pivot tables and macros a plus) and PowerPoint

Eligibility Requirements

• Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through to be considered

• Must be willing to travel

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be able to provide references from previous employers if requested

• Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week

• Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.

• Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.

• Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.

**Desired Characteristics**

• Prior experience within a broadcast/cable network, agency, media research supplier or digital media company strongly desired

• Experience with Nielsen ratings software and/or digital analytics a plus.

• Proven experience in strategic thinking and analysis

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment

• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization

• Effective time management skills and exhibits attention to detail

• Demonstrated fast learner and proactive problem solver
