This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Produce regular international performance reporting and ad hoc analysis (linear and SVOD) for NBCU-owned production companies, format sales and Studios management

• Evaluate competitive landscape and market opportunities by genre, platform or market and communicate results to stakeholders

• Create tailored negotiation support for productions sales pitches and series renewals

• London-based point person for US performance of NBCU titles and potential formats

• Work with ad revenue data to understand value of titles to broadcaster

• Explore additional digital revenue opportunities for appropriate productions (eg, mobile, web, games)

• Support the delivery of primary research (qualitative or quantitative) as and when necessary, working with external agencies where appropriate

• Monitor and communicate market trends to Studios stakeholders

• Support the Global Audience Research & Analysis team and liaise with international counterparts in other NBCU offices as required.


• An active interest in the international media business and TV production

• Good understanding of the current media landscape, with a detailed understanding of the variety of ways that consumers are now watching content

• Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to craft insightful and visually appealing reporting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Comfort working with, and ability to summarise key findings from, large data sets

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Ability to take initiative and prioritise workloads to ensure all relevant deadlines are met

• Experience with media analysis tools (e.g. TechEdge, InfoSys, ITVR, Nielsen) essential, and data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL) beneficial
