Essential Responsibilities:

The Research Analyst at NBC Entertainment is responsible for managing survey programming, data processing, and custom data runs for all online, dial test, and phone studies conducted by the Consumer and Market Intelligence department. Also responsible for database management, processing of normative data and handling daily social media reporting.

+ Manage the programming and data processing of 150+ surveys a year for new and existing NBC programs

+ Collaborate with Research Managers, 3rd party vendors and IT to develop, execute and report survey results

+ Mange the relationship with 3rd party survey vendors, ensuring an efficient and effective process is maintained for survey data

+ Generate analysis and reports for all surveys through use of SPSS and NBC proprietary applications

+ Ensure data quality for new and historical surveys

+ Produce daily social media reports on NBC and competitive programming


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Consumer research experienceEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice

+ Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA

+ Must have work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

+ Intermediate computer proficiency

+ Advanced experience with MS Office products

+ Good experience with SPSS Products

+ Some familiarity with social media listening tools

+ Extensive Market Research experience

+ Survey programming experience

+ Data processing experience

+ Advanced Statistics training

+ Experience with reporting applications such as Business Objects

+ Ability to create and modify MS Excel Macro’s

+ Ability to create and modify MS PowerPoint charts

+ Detail oriented

+ Enthusiasm for solving problems

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Knowledge of the Media & Entertainment business

+ Ability to work with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
