**Responsibilities**

**Role Summary:**

The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing customer specific marketing activities that drive sales/revenue of licensed consumer products. In order to do this, he/she will engage with key stakeholders to identify synergistic marketing opportunities. Key internal interfaces include the Director of Retail Marketing and Customer Team Leader for Retail Development. Key customer contacts include all levels of the customer’s marketing organization, the buying team and outside agencies developing innovative go to market programs for Walmart and Sam’s Club.

**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Creates custom Walmart and Sam’s Club marketing/promotional programs aligned to the brand strategies:

+ Develop proposals, with full cost/benefit scenario planning (lift, ROI) for all customer retail marketing programs

+ Research shopper & category trends. Identify shopper insights gaps and develop solutions from findings.

+ Develops sales pitch presentations for all customer marketing programs

+ Promotion planning and administration - works with LA-based Retail Development Marketing team to ensure all administrative requirements (e.g., Creative Work Order, Purchase orders, etc) are completed on a timely basis.

+ Works with outside vendors to deliver promotional needs

+ Works with key licensee marketing counterparts to achieve mutual growth expectations

+ Works with finance to conduct post event analysis, including full financial assessment (ROI), retail compliance, and consumer reaction (pull)

+ Develops relationships and has routine contact as the customer interface with all key marketing personnel

+ Partners with the entire customer team on the development of the annual business plan

+ Provides Wal-Mart specific marketing feedback and insights to HQ

+ Monitor and research relevant publications and other information on retail trends and specific business at Walmart
