**Responsibilities**

Here at WMAQ-TV, NBC Chicago, we have a great opportunity to add another member to our Business Development team as a Sales Account Executive. A Sales Account Executive should have keen ability to develop concepts, grow and maintain sales revenue, and be able to communicate with top leadership at the C-suite level and advertising agencies. In this position you will:

Responsibilities:



+ Meet/Exceed quarterly and annual set revenue budgets.

+ Understand, target, pitch and secure new sources of marketing, advertising, promotional and event revenue.

+ Create customized solutions for local clients that will demonstrate the power of NBC Local Media with the ultimate goal of monetizing all NBC Chicago properties.

+ Ascertain and market to previously untapped, emerging, and traditional businesses while drive revenue by selling the value and benefit of multi-marketing platforms.

+ Develop growth revenue by focusing on “conversion” targets from competitive media.

+ Organize management of business opportunities pipeline and sharp revenue forecasting.

+ Learn NBC Salesforce systems and Traffic/Order flow processes.

+ Create and present dynamic proposals and sales pitches to internal and external clients.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

We are looking for an individual who can seamlessly deliver sales revenue, as well as cultivate and develop new advertisers with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study. In addition:



+ Have 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing role.

+ Ability to drive and own a vehicle for transportation to and from client meetings.To qualify you must:
