Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Segment Producer for a Late Night talk show in New York City. The Segment Producer will be responsible for producing between 3 to 5 guest segments per week of varying types. Additionally, the Segment Producer will be responsible for producing game and stunt segments with guests.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Shape and form guest segments using research provided

• Produce elements for guest segments

• Conduct pre-interviews with celebrity guests

• Write introductions for guests and suggested questions for hosts

• Enterprise, conceptualize, and pitch guest participation ideas


Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum 3+ years experience booking/segment producing special interest guests

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must have ability to work flexible hours due to the production schedule of the show, including weekends and evenings when necessary

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and be agreeable to changes

• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Must have work authorization to work in the United States

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
