Organization Responsibilities
• Establishes themselves as an expert on financial issues and provide suggestions to market leadership on ways to optimize the organization business model.
• Provide analysis to management and senior management of CMG Technology and Digital organizations.
• Proactively provide decision support to management and senior management of CMG Technology and Digital organizations.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Technology and Digital, functions, initiatives, vocabulary and areas of support.
• Financial modeling and business case development/analysis will be required.
• Develop as the CMG Finance expert in all areas of our growing digital business, and provide proactive analysis for new initiatives.
• Analyze and make recommendations on business issues for alternative approaches and/or opportunities.
• Collaborates with responsible managers to ensure resources are available to support their financial needs and special projects by creating reports and analytics.
• Establish a working knowledge of all applicable software tools (Apptio, Oracle, Hyperion, OBIEE, etc). Liaison between Technology and CEI administration. Key member in monthly update and maintenance of model, including interrelationships of model.
• Accurately prepare annual operational plans based on corporate guidelines and tools provided.
• Prepares, reviews and analyzes forecasts and recommends changes when appropriate. Updates forecasts for both current performance and new developments to provide management with a current perspective of the business.
• Evaluates actual results against budget/forecast and communicates areas for improvement monthly. Provides a meaningful and informational summary of monthly financial results to Operational and Financial management.
• Coordinates and drives shared service centers initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies and driving issues to resolution as well as feedback toward improved coordination, collaboration and communication.
• Management of business operations, with awareness of orgs vendor agreements, relationships and activity levels. Includes assessment of activity levels.
• Compliance with Financial and Operational Management requests of providing data on operational statuses and other special project needs.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field is required.
• CPA is a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years Finance experience with demonstrated increase in responsibility in related areas.
• Demonstrated experience with designing, reporting and delivering analytical solutions and the strategic use of information. Experience must include strong skills in research and analysis.
• A broad understanding of the technology/IT and digital operations fields and related processes is beneficial; however, similar experience in other business fields will also be considered favorably.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills desired. Hyperion and Oracle experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to partner with others to develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.
• Demonstrate skill or experience to work effectively across functional departments and with other business groups within the organization.
