Job Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in managing the financial planning and analysis and the Ultimates process for the Universal Television studio. The individual will interact with TV Production, NBC Network finance, and global distribution finance teams. Other core responsibilities include ownership of TV Production Controllership and Sarbanes-Oxley processes as well as being a key contact for both the Comcast and external audit groups.

Essential Responsibilities

+ Provide key support in forecasting & reporting Universal Television’s global consolidated P&L, including variance reporting and analysis.

+ Perform ad hoc analysis for scenario planning

+ Formulate and drive executive presentations for use with divisional and Corporate leadership.

+ Lead critical quarterly closing processes and related compliance activities (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley controls, general ledger to subledger tie-outs, etc.).

+ Project manage key NBCUniversal initiatives, including process simplification and integration planning.


Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance.Eligibility Requirements

+ Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

+ Must have work authorization to work in the United States.

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

+ Very strong computer skills, primarily Excel. Understanding Macros / VB a plus.
