Senior Manager of Food Finance for Universal Studios Hollywood theme park and CityWalk. Responsibilities include reporting, accounting, budgeting, process improvement, analysis and staff management/development. Position reports to Director of Food Finance, with significant exposure to the senior leadership team.

•Reporting (weekly/monthly P&L, quarterly business reviews, cash flows, monthly capital position)

•Accounting (daily activity, monthly close, capital/project tracking)

•Financial forecasting (operating plan, latest estimates – P&L and cash flows. Monthly capital pacing)

•Process Improvement (financial & operational)

•Analysis (variance analyses, business case evaluation)

•Professional staff of 4 (management/development)

•Partner with Food Finance Director/operators to drive performance and execute business strategies

•Provide strong technical leadership, implementing best practices

•Frequent senior leadership updates/presentations

•Lead ad hoc projects, as requested


•Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field

•Minimum 5 years progressive finance or accounting experience

•Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

**Desired Characteristics**

•Prior Food industry experience (fast food or casual dining) and/or theme park operations

•Strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills – an ‘outside the box’ thinker

•Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment, operating under tight deadlines

•Ability to influence senior leadership team – strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

•Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop staff

•Effectively lead and influence cross functional teams in a matrixed environment

•MBA a plus
