**Responsibilities**

The Senior Product Manager, E-Commerce will plan, develop and oversee the strategy and feature development that will support marketing and sales objectives while driving revenue growth on the organization’s digital products including Universal Studios Hollywood and Halloween Horror Nights online properties. This person will partner with marketing, sales, technology and internal teams to create an unparalleled guest experience that reinforces brand education and persuasion, optimizes customer experience, and that ultimately increases conversion rates, average order value, revenue and other online KPIs.



Strategy:

•Delight our customers - lead the effort to enhance the online customer experience with content and features that reinforce brand persuasion, functionality and ultimately drive conversion, revenue and attendance for the Universal Studios Hollywood and Halloween Horror Nights brands

•Create and maintain product roadmap aligned to organization’s priorities and product strategy

•Work closely with marketing and business stakeholders to translate product features and functionality into detailed user stories and product requirements

•Understand user needs, evolving market trends, innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new and existing products to support brand initiatives

•Lead conversion program strategy across channels, including, B2C, B2B and international offerings

•Lead product (tickets, hotels, packages, ancillary) marketing and merchandising strategy for the online ticket stores based on strategic priorities

•Develop the annual E-Commerce plan and budget and manage effectively

•Demonstrate market knowledge - passionate about retail, entertainment, theme park tech, should be current with emerging technologies for commerce as digital technology evolves



Design & Development:

•Create shared vision with teams through user story mapping, functional specs, and clear user stories

•Practice ruthless prioritization – align delivery with customer and stakeholder needs

•Understand and clearly communicate tradeoffs in product development

•Drive execution of initiatives from conception through launch including gathering requirements and creative assets

•Be a thought leader and champion user-centered design best practices, including mobile first thinking in development of new and existing products

•Define and communicate clear business and technical requirements for developers

•Inspire teams to deliver against prioritized initiatives aligned to the roadmap

•Help drive and participate in rigorous QA cycles to ensure functionality and content integrity

•Consistently utilize A/B, and multivariate testing data to effectively inform and drive progress

•Drive process improvement for site content updates, focusing on speed-to-market and efficiency

•Opportunity to coach/mentor junior product management staff



Accountability & Reporting:

•Develop standard reporting and analysis dashboards that effectively communicates to senior leadership the results and business impact of E-Commerce initiatives

•Analyze product performance and customer feedback and respond quickly to iterate improvements

•Intense focus on using data to drive decision-making process on future development and testing

**Qualifications/Requirements**

•5+ years of experience in E-Commerce and/or Product Management for web properties preferably for B2C, B2B and international channels with an emphasis on name brand travel or retail sectors

•Interactive product development experience that has materially contributed to growing online revenue within the context of a consumer oriented E-Commerce business

•Experience leading the evolution of an online product development lifecycle over multiple releases

•Possess understanding of the best practices in user experience, usability and user interface design

•Present a successful track record partnering with engineering in the development and delivery of site features/functionality

•Knowledge of Agile methodologies: running daily stand-ups, sprint planning, lean product testing, etc

•Familiarity with content management tools, JIRA (or similar project management tools), and Omniture (or similar digital analytics)
