**Responsibilities**

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Experience supporting the technical and system needs for payment solutions. Knowledge of card payment systems and devices.

• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field is desirable

• 3 - 5 years of work experience in an IT support function

• Experience with relational database and operating systems, specifically Microsoft SQL Server

• SQL experience, including creation and execution of queries, inserts, updates and deletions. Use of query best practices including triggers, stored procedures and reporting using SSRS.

• Strong team oriented interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to make effective decisions while working through complex system issues

• Familiarity with network concepts and architectural design a plus

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience handling sensitive information and compliance with data privacy and security policies

• Provide after business hours/weekend systems support for major application incidents and part of the IT on call rotation

• Willingness to travel and/or work weekends with short notice

• Must be able to stand long periods of time

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

• Must be able to provide onsite support for troubleshooting

**Desired Characteristics**

• Familiarity with a large Point of Sale application is desired

• Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it pertains to hardware and software solutions is a plus

• Familiarity with PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, and/or EMV a plus

• Strong team oriented interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with general programming/scripting languages (Batch, VBscript, Powershell, etc.)

• Experience with general programming languages (.Net, Windows Forms, ASP.Net)

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner.

• Ability to manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracy.

• Strong track record meeting targets and objectives.

• Able to listen and communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional peers.

• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

• Results oriented with a history of problem resolution and prevention.
