**Responsibilities**

The Solutions Manger, HR Technology’s role is to lead the team through the definition, configuration, testing, analyzing and delivering of HR technology solutions and to collaborate with the Parks’ Technology team on development initiatives. This position would be considered an expert level at most of the core HR systems and functional areas. This would include understanding the business area processes and how the systems could be optimized to meet the future needs. The Solutions Manager will be the primary researcher of new functionality and will pass on the learnings to the rest of the team. This position is a strategic contributor and may not have direct reports but will pass on knowledge to the rest of the team and collaborate with the HR Technology Manager position.



This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:**



+ Leads complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive the HR Technology strategy. Leads research and implementation of new functionality and recommends opportunities for improvement of the systems by being an expert at system capabilities and functional areas and works to accomplish improvements through matrixed teams.

+ Mentors team members on new functionality of the systems and how to leverage the system in new ways.

+ Serves as the liaison with all HR teams by understanding the systems and processes in and working with management, customers, peers, and fellow team members to accomplish goals. Documents processes and system requirements, specifications and test cases on large initiatives in collaboration with internal users and departments.

+ Partners with the Parks Technology Project Manager on identifying tasks and reporting progress on large, complex initiatives.

+ Observes security policies in accessing, securing and protecting confidential and sensitive information including the monitoring of access.

**SCOPE:** Set new HR Technology methodologies based on new capabilities and work with business partners to improve practices. Research new tools to exceed Team Member and HR Experience. Develop internal project management practices to report project statuses for HR leadership. Demonstrate expert level functional expertise in most areas and work directly with IT peers and user community. Mentor team members to increase expertise across all areas. Demonstrate expert level knowledge of most systems which include PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft Benefits, PeopleSoft ELM, Kronos Workforce Central Timekeeping, Kronos Workforce Central Advanced Scheduling, Kronos Workforce Central Attendance, BI reporting, Staffing solutions, Organizations Development solutions, Internal Communications solutions and other HR solutions.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

**EDUCATION:** Bachelor degree in one or more of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Computer Science.

**EXPERIENCE:** 10+ years equivalent work experience. Experience in leading large scale, complex HR projects for a diverse employee population in multiple states. Requires the use of sound business judgment and confidentiality while performing assigned tasks. Conflict resolution and problem solving techniques required. Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills required.



+ Expert level of HR systems

+ Expert level in analysis of HR Technology

+ Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid technology including branding

+ Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Hub

+ Experience in HR transformation projects including mobile capabilities

+ Experience in HR analytics, dashboards, and workflow approvals

+ Experience implementing a new, complex HR system for a large company

+ Proficient in SQL

+ Excellence in communication with technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.

+ Passionate, flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies and processes.

+ Knowledge of applicable data privacy, employment practices, and laws.

+ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Highly self-motivated and directed.

+ Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.

+ Keen attention to detail.

+ Proven ability in testing new complex functionality.

+ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

+ Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

+ On-call availability on an occassional basis.

+ May require working hours outside of typical business hours which could include nights and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines and operational support needs.

**APPLICATION EXPERIENCE:**



+ PeopleSoft HCM/ELM 9.2 or higher

+ Kronos Workforce Central 8.0 or higher

+ MicroSoft office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**



+ Experience with Global HR implementations

+ SQL experience including

+ Creation/Execution of queries

+ Inserts, updates, deletes

+ SQL Server

+ Connecting

+ Querying

+ Updating/deleting data

+ Navigating database tables

+ Stored Procedures

+ Experience using PeopleSoft App Designer including the ability to research objects and interpret basic PeopleCode

+ Experience with integrating systems

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:** Works with internal business clients and external vendors. Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, manuals and procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw graphs and interpret spreadsheets. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to build and lead a team in completing a project.
