The Senior Director, IT Asset Management will lead all aspects of IT Asset Management function drive discrete cross enterprise transformation programs like CMDB. This Sr. Director will partner with various leaders in NBCU Information Technology Organization, to design, implement & continuously improve the IT Asset Management function and also drive IT transformational programs.

This position will report to the VP, Technology Business Services and will primarily be responsible for leading a global team of managers, program/project managers.

Responsibilities include:

+ Lead the IT Asset Management function by setting the strategy for HAM and SAM for the organization, creating the business case and driving the execution across different teams.

+ Lead the implementation of cross enterprise IT transformational initiatives. To begin the person will lead the ITAM and CMDB programs.

+ Partner with different teams across IT to drive the initiatives successfully. This will include but not limited to working closely with the Enterprise Applications team on the tools enabling the ITAM function and the cross enterprise initiatives.

+ Develop the strategy and plan for execution for the ITAM function and the initiatives.

+ Lead the culture of continuous improvement by identifying projects, initiatives & getting the customer or leadership engagement and deliver them

+ Manage the Capital & Expense budgets for the team

+ Partner with Vendor Management & Technology Sourcing teams on vendor selection and ongoing vendor governance

+ Coach & mentor the team, identify training needs to help their professional development

+ Perform other duties as assigned


+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; degree in related field preferred (i.e. computer science, management information systems, etc.)

+ Minimum 10 years of experience across IT functions specially in IT governance

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, leading cross functional teams and programs and IT asset management

+ Have a proven track record of successful program delivery

+ Experience in managing enterprise wide process and platform implementation

+ Experience in driving process re-engineering and process change across multiple teams

+ Experience managing large capital and expense budgets

+ Proven track record of leading large development & support teams in onsite-offshore model & managing multiple projects using Agile & Waterfall methodologies

+ Has successful track record working with multiple product and professional services vendors at the same time

+ Experience successfully managing large technology teams and desires to coach and mentor

+ Must be at least ITIL V3 foundation & PMP certified

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Ability to lead process design discussions & organizational change across the Technology organization

+ Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and presentation skills

+ Formal training / certification in ServiceNow and Flexera FNMS

+ Business Process re-engineering experience or certifications in methodologies like Lean Six Sigma

+ Ability to productively provide oversight on multiple projects simultaneously

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

+ Experience working in Media & Entertainment industry
