**Responsibilities**

NBC is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our finance team in the Network News Los Angeles Bureau.



Job Duties



+ Assist with quarterly closing process: journal entries, variance analysis, and post close financial reporting

+ Support financial planning and annual budget efforts: pacing and reporting, identifying risks and opportunities

+ Assist monthly reporting by building dashboards and other summaries for management; communicate results and metrics in a timely manner

+ Own accounts payable responsibilities; accurately code invoices, coordinate approvals, update operators and team members, and work with vendors as needed

+ Lead controllable expenses reporting and audits including: improving controllership, identifying key trends, summarizing themes for leadership teams, and providing cost management ideas

+ Periodically present updates on financial and operating performance and other projects to finance and operating leadership teams

+ Collaborate with the other Finance team members to better support Operators and maintain a healthy division of responsibilities

+ Participate in ad hoc projects in order to gain knowledge in other areas and cultivate creativity

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

+ 2+ years of relevant experience

+ Excellent computer / analytical skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

+ Proficient use of SAP/Business Warehouse/BPC or similar accounting softwareAdditional Job Requirements
