Job Purpose

The Production Supervisor role will function in the Original Video Production team within NBC Entertainment On Air Marketing. This position will be part of a team responsible for managing promotional shoots and communication with key stakeholders (internal departments, studios, creative community, vendors). This position will report to the Director, Production in the Original Production team.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Administrative support for physical production teams including scheduling, budget & travel management, supplies, logistics, executive involvements, etc.

+ Interact with multiple departments to ensure seamless workflow transition from production into post.

+ Schedule shoots for production teams

+ Maintain department shoot schedule

+ Set up, track, negotiate and maintain vendor relationships.

+ Coordinate custom shoot requests from internal and external departments and management of shot lists

+ Assist with onboarding freelancers and production teams

+ Tracking of clearances and licensing.

+ Tracking of invoices and individual shoot budgets

+ Communicate effectively with internal departments, creative community, studios and vendors.


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Minimum 1 year relevant work experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Eligibility Requirements:

+ Previous work experience at a studio, network, or agency in short form or commercial production.

+ Previous experience in physical production.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Flexible, personable, self-starter, and extremely detail-oriented with the ability to interface with all levels of NBCUniversal staff.

+ Ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals.

+ Ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

+ Multi-task oriented, strong organizational process and time management skills
