SUMMARY: Responsible for revenue generation in store and venue locations, overseeing stock inventory, leading and training Team Members, ensuring guest service standardsare metand operational readiness of indoor and open-air locations throughout Universal Orlando property and other company owned or leased venues.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





+ Assist management with the consistent execution of guest serviceand operationalstandards. Perform all operational duties related to the daily opening and closing of locations to include but not limited to inventory, issuing starting banks, providing change, performing audits and completing the end of day process.



+ Manage and maintain all facets of daily operation of the location. Assign tasks and monitor performance of Team Members to ensure policies and procedures of the department are followed. Ensure that Team Members are wardrobe compliant. Ensure established safety practices and quality standards are maintained. Responsible for maintaining and inspecting show quality standards as set by the company.



+ Train and coach Team Members, explain performance and behavioral expectations, provide feedback and recognition. Conduct shift meetings and provide daily sales goals in support of the revenue plan. Report behavior requiring discipline and documentation to the management team.



+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.



+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements







QUALIFICATIONS:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:





+ 2-3 years leadership experience in a high volume retail environment preferred.



+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.



+ Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.



+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.



+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.



+ Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.









Consistent attendance is a job requirement.







EDUCATION:





+ High school degree or GED is required.









EXPERIENCE:





+ 1-3 Years: cash handling, retail sales or foods service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.









PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

+ Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) climb stairs / ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; lift up to 50 pounds with control; push up to 50 pounds with control.



+ Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) sit for prolonged periods; work at heights for prolonged periods of time including heights with or without railings or over open pits greater than 4 feet; balance; repeat motions more than twice per minute; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner.









WORK ENVIRONMENT:



While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:





+ Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold.



+ Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) work in extreme cold (non-weather); work in extreme heat (non-weather).



+ Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) work with compressed gas cylinders or tanks; transport fuels or compressed gases.
