**Responsibilities**

Role Summary

This position is responsible for directing all stages of strategic development and creative execution involved in marketing our portfolio of channels to the commercial community, including but not limited to trade advertising, affiliate activations and initiatives, large and small scale marketing events, promotions, stunts, premiums, sweepstakes, competitions and trainings. The Director will build a marketing strategy designed to meet stated awareness and interest goals, ultimately driving revenue.



Essential Responsibilities



+ Work closely with senior management to evaluate the trade marketplace, articulate clear goals for trade marketing

+ Write annual marketing plan designed to meet those goals, incorporating plans to measure the effect (ROI) of our efforts

+ Develop innovative ways to impact the buying behavior of the ad and affiliate community

+ Direct internal departments as well as outside agencies in planning and executing marketing campaigns including advertising, promotions, viral/social, events and stunts

+ Oversee all parties involved in creating and producing various events, such as client entertainment, talent meet and greets, screenings, conference sponsorships, as well as the Upfront

+ Work closely with creative, production, ad sales, programming, PR teams in developing messaging, managing timelines, and maintaining consistent, clear voice of the brand

+ Supervise and guide the activities of Marketing Manager and Coordinator

+ Manage trade marketing budget in conjunction with local marketing heads

+ Liaise with local marketing team to ensure alignment in strategy across LATAM and share best practices

+ Maintain strong competitive intelligence, keeping pulse on innovative and effective marketing tactics

+ Evaluate and evolve marketing strategy over the course of the year responding to the ever changing advertising marketplace

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Minimum 10 years’ experience at a media company or agency where responsible for strategy development, composing, presenting and leading the execution of multi-faceted marketing campaignsAdditional Job Requirements

**Desired Characteristics**



+ Strong sensibility and insight into what motivates the behavior of buyers, planners and clients

+ Experience in brand marketing, event marketing and advertising required.

+ Experience in social marketing a plus.

+ Experience in Ad Sales Marketing a plus.

+ Thorough understanding of the TV Sales process and the advertising community, including the roles and responsibilities of buyers, planners and brand marketers and how these players interact

+ Extraordinary attention to detail and record of flawless execution

+ Flexible personality and easy to work with

+ Works well in teams and liaising with a variety of departments, knows how to navigate and find way in large organization

+ Positive, can-do attitude

+ Working knowledge of network programming and production

+ Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

+ Experience hiring, managing and developing staff

+ Thorough knowledge of relevant research tools

+ Solid time-management and multi-tasking skills
