**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities:**

• Develop and implement strategic trade and business media relations plans leveraging mainstream and social media channels to build awareness and understanding among key stakeholders of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises’s business strategies, ratings performance and brand positioning.



• Develop and cultivate close relationships with key editors, reporters and influencers at business and trade outlets.



• Regularly develop and pitch story ideas aligning with company goals and a deep understanding of the needs and profiles of key media outlets.



• Work closely with research and sales marketing teams to develop and implement trade strategies to devise effective sales marketing messaging for trade and business publications for national sales teams, digital media and executives.



• Coordinate with key internal stakeholders on story development and execution of interviews to enhance the visibility and stature of key NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises executives and spokespeople.



• Develop high quality, creatively written material for distribution to media and in support of other marketing & company needs.



• Manage & direct external public relations agencies & consultants to maximize

their value to NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.



• Communicate and coordinate across divisions of NBCUniversal to leverage resources and contacts.



• Work in close collaboration with other NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises Communication team members to ensure consistency with overall company

communications strategy.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

● Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a leadership role

● Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.

● Excellent writing skills (releases, internal communications and presentations

● Able to work independently in a fast pace environment and tight deadlines

● Strong media relationships with business and trade outlets

● Proven ability to develop and effectively manage strong working relationships with executives

● Proven experience of working across trade and business PR within a media/broadcaster environment

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team

• Superior knowledge of the competitive Hispanic and general market television industry.

• Exhibit professionalism and skills necessary to establish and maintain a high level of credibility and diplomatically work a crisis and provide council and strategic guidance to senior management.

• Must demonstrate sound judgement
