The Owned Television Stations (OTS) Vice President of Ad Sales Finance will be responsible for finance support of a $2B sales organization selling advertising for 12 NBC Owned Television Stations, 20 Telemundo Owned Television Stations, 7 Comcast Regional Sports Networks, a Regional News Network (NECN) and all associated digital platforms. H/she will also oversee finance support to a production company (LX.TV), an in-house marketing and promotions company (Skycastle) and two national multicast networks, COZI and TeleXitos. The position will report directly to the CFO of the business with a dotted line to the Chief Revenue Officer. The VP Ad Sales Finance will also be responsible for full P&L management of the National Sales Organization (comprised of 8 NBC NSO offices, 7 Telemundo NSO offices, CSNs, Sports & Olympic Team, NBC & Telemundo business development team). The VP Ad Sales Finance will oversee a team of four employees and a CORE Finance Associate.

The VP Ad Sales Finance will be a critical business partner to the Chief Revenue Officer and will engage frequently with the President of the division and her direct reports. H/she will also support and interact closely with 1 EVP and 6 SVPs of Sales. H/she will have the ability to work effectively within the culture of the organization and collaborate with people at all levels. H/she will work closely with the sales and finance leadership teams at the stations and across the finance function to lead all aspects of sales finance operations and broad change initiatives. H/she will also have exposure to and the opportunity to present to the CFO of NBCUniversal.

The ideal candidate must bring both strategic and operational finance leadership to the organization and will be a close business partner to the CRO, the CFO of the NBC Owned Stations, the CFO of the Telemundo Owned Stations and their respective teams, serving as a key member of the division headquarters team. From an operational perspective, the VP Ad Sales Finance must be comfortable navigating in a rapidly growing and changing broadcast television business, with the ability to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop appropriate and achievable short and long-term strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will possess excellent judgment and business instincts, with the ability to prioritize and separate the important from the truly critical. Importantly, the h/she will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to identify issues in a timely manner, communicate them proactively to key stakeholders, and take the necessary steps to drive to a solution.

- Finance leader of a $2B Advertising Sales Organization, responsible for all aspects of finance support from FP&A to accounting to strategic and operational partnership to sales leadership.

- Full P&L responsibility for the NBC & Telemundo National Sales Organizations (~170 people) with respect to forecasting, pacing, reporting, closing activities.

- Oversee all aspects of finance support to a production company (LX.TV), an in-house marketing and promotions company (Skycastle) and two national multicast networks, COZI and TeleXitos.

- Deal modeling of potential acquisition opportunities.

- Sales analytic and reporting on key business initiatives (i.e. new station performance) and tentpole events (Olympics, Super Bowl, World Cup, Political Revenue, etc.)

- Assist CRO and HR leadership with the development and implementation of Sales Incentive Compensation plans.

- Work closely with sales leadership to develop practices and policies that ensure operations run as efficiently as possible, to include oversight of sales systems and interfaces.

- Manage and develop a team of four finance employees and a CORE Associate.


- Bachelor’s degree

- Minimum of seven year experience in finance and accounting roles

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

**Desired Characteristics**
