**Role Summary:**

The Filmed Entertainment Group is responsible for the Production, Marketing, Distribution and management of Feature Films and Kids TV content across the globe. It has an annual turnover of approximately $8B, producing a profit of between $1B - $1.5B.

The Corporate Finance team is responsible for all budgeting, reporting, analysis activities of the Group, with direct oversight of the 14 distinct Business Units it comprises.

The VP finance is directly responsible for all activities pertaining to Free Cash Flow, CAPEX investment, and Overhead Expense for the consolidated group. They will have direct management over a team of staff based in LA as well as leading a coordinated effort with the global Film business unit finance teams.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Direct responsibility for the creation of the Long Range Plan (5 year outlook) and Annual Budget for consolidated film group

+ Management of all activities pertaining to Free Cash Flow (FCF) & Overhead, including weekly pacing to Group CFO, monthly updates to NBCU Corporate HQ, supervision of Quarter close activities

+ Management of all CAPEX requests, budgets and tracking for the consolidated Film Group

+ Liaison with Film Controllership team to ensure smooth quarter end process and detailed understanding of ledger postings

+ Direct consultation, collaboration and communication with finance teams from across the 14 Film business units to ensure coordinated processes and timely reporting

+ Management of relationship with NBCU Corporate Finance HQ in New York

+ Responsible for weekly liquidity reporting with Comcast Treasury

+ Assist with the production of presentations and executive updates for all aspects of the Film Group (Monthly OP Reviews, Quarterly Global FP&A updates, Budget / Long Range Plan)

+ Drive process improvements across the Film business units

+ Assist with the integration of new business units and models

+ Project Management of key NBCU / Film initiatives pertaining to processes, systems and performance

+ Management of other initiatives / projects as they arise


Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and/or accounting of the entertainment industry including a working understanding of Film accounting & Ultimates

+ Experience interfacing with multiple levels of management ranging from senior corporate executives to business unit managers and third parties

+ Financial modeling experience including utilization of Excel, Power Point & Essbase

+ Understanding of the film and/or media markets/business models

+ Excellent communication (verbal, written, visual) skills are essentialEligibility Requirements:
