**Role Summary:**

The VP, Finance Process Improvements & Initiatives will be responsible for the design and functional execution of finance-focused projects for the Filmed Entertainment Segment within NBCUniversal, driving process enhancement and reporting efficiencies across the group in alignment with the objectives set forth by the CFO and Controller.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Establish the vision, strategy, roadmap and implementation of a COE that reflects forward thinking and a deep understanding of the Filmed Entertainment Segment’s current needs and priorities.

+ Drive global process improvement and simplification initiatives that help to streamline future integration efforts as our business continues to grow

+ Create and manage multiple project plans that adhere to allocated budgets, timelines, and availability of internal resources

+ Proactively identify and implement solutions that advocate the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting activities

+ Maintain a strong working relationships with Filmed Entertainment HQ and business unit finance teams, ensuring project objectives are clearly defined, communicated and prioritized

+ Liaise with IT to facilitate the implementation of short and long term system solutions in alignment with the established process enhancement strategy

+ Develop Director and Manager level staff, leading by example with a strong work ethic and providing real time feedback on performance levels


Basic Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of experience

+ Project Management Professional Certification, preferred

+ Extensive experience in managing large teams and complex projects in a Global Environment

+ Ability to create timelines for project deliverables and meet deadlines while identifying solutions for conflicts and dependencies

+ Process and system awareness, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks

+ Strong communication and presentation skills, with a pro-active approach to building working relationships

+ Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.Eligibility Requirements:
