**Responsibilities**

Reporting into the President and General Manager, the Vice President, Marketing and Branding will provide overall creative services, marketing strategy and brand direction to drive viewership for NBC Boston, necn and Telemundo Boston. As a member of the leadership team for the triopoly, this position will lead the overall strategy and execution of marketing plans for TV, out of home, websites and mobile platforms in the Boston, MA market.



Responsibilities



+ Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans to define the brand, build awareness and drive consumption

+ Provide competitive analysis of the marketplace and develop strategies for growing and retaining consumer groups

+ Work closely with the Vice President, Programming to provide the production support for station public service campaigns, event sponsorships and other related community projects

+ Collaborate with News Management on station strategies, marketing plans and topical promotion on air and across platforms

+ Source and manage internal and external agencies, media partners and vendors to execute multimedia marketing tactics, including writing briefs, evaluating creative, managing budgets and developing outside media plans

+ Manage and oversee day-to-day details on advertising campaigns and media buys

+ Develop and execute marketing plan for station initiatives, special events and programming

+ Analyze and interpret station marketing research

+ Work effectively with clients and agencies in support of the Sales Department

+ Work in partnership across a number of markets and other NBC properties

+ Grow and develop the creative services team

**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ Minimum 10 years of relevant, successful and progressive Creative Services and/or Marketing experience, with a supervisory-level background at a broadcast, local station, cable television or related environment

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

+ Consumer marketing across multiple media, including creative management

+ Deep knowledge of multimedia and marketing trends

+ Proven business partner with the ability to guide and counsel on a wide variety of brand integrations and initiatives

+ Strong strategic and analytical skillset

+ Superior verbal, written and presentation skills

+ Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and quickly changing objectives/priorities

+ Proven track record in managing teams

+ Experience developing and managing budgets

+ Strong knowledge of digital media and social media across multiple platforms

+ Relevant local stations industry experience a plus

+ Able to work a Flexible Schedule and Shifts, including nights and weekends
