**Responsibilities**

Cable Entertainment is committed to increasing diversity in front of and behind the camera, and to telling the diverse stories that reflect our audience. This newly created role will drive diversity strategies across the Cable Entertainment portfolio in building and growing the creative talent pool.



Job Duties



+ Create and build forward facing programs with Scripted & Unscripted teams along with Cable Studios Development and their respective teams to seek and create paths to bring diverse voices, stories and talent into our portfolio. This role reports into EVP Scripted Cable & Unscripted USA/Syfy and EVP, Cable Studios Development with a dotted line into the EVP HR and Diversity Outreach• Identify and set tone for meaningful panels; create strong relationships with Talent/agents to support Cable Entertainment Development and Production

+ Oversee and build on existing creative talent pipeline programs and events such as the Canadian Fellowship Workshop, ABFF Sponsorship, Entertainment Associate Program and the LA & Toronto Diversity Casting Outreach events

+ Partner with the Cable Entertainment Internal Diversity Council to review, define and execute against in-font of and behind the camera strategies and goals

+ Support information gathering and tracking on meaningful work diversity analytics and outreach efforts and present to senior leaders

+ Partner and collaborate with creative diversity leads across other NBCUniversal platforms, including Entertainment and Film

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Minimum 8 years of experience as a Development or Current Programming executive at a network or studio or equivalent agency experienceAdditional Job Requirements

+ Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
