Job Description

KSBW-TV, Hearst Television's affiliate in Monterey-Salinas, CA, seeks a full time Weather Forecaster for all weekend newscasts.

Job Responsibilities:                                                

  • Produce and anchor Saturday & Sunday news weather segments, morning and evening
  • Produce clear, concise and accurate forecasts on all platforms, including television, and digital platforms
  • Will work normal 3-day work week (Saturday – Monday)
  • Occasional fill-in during the week for other KSBW weather anchors (5-day week)

Required Skills

Education:                                        

  • College degree and AMS seal preferred

Required Experience

  • Preference for Meteorologist with television and/or radio experience
